2019年の来日公演は5月15日の幕張メッセからスタートし、東名阪での連続3公演となった中、16日名古屋そして17日大阪とその全公演をすべてフロント・ローからのハイクオリティー・オーディエンス・レコーディングにてコンプリート収録。
いずれも会場音響の素晴らしさも手伝い、全編にわたりクリアーかつ、パワフルでダイレクト感溢れるサウンドにて3回のみの貴重な単独ライブを見事に再現。
そしてまず特筆すべきは前年まではソロ3作目の『Who Built The Moon?』のナンバーを軸にしたセットだったのが、ここでは翌月にリリースを控えたEP『Black Star Dancing』から、タイトル・ナンバーを早くも披露しており、さらにこれまでのソロ・アルバム・ナンバーに加えて、アシス・ナンバーにおいてもこれまで定番だった”Masterplan”、”Wonderwall”、”Don’t Look Back In Anger”、そして”Stop Crying Your Heart Out”が久しぶりにセットインしているのも注目すべきところ。
さらに基本的なセットは固定だったのが、最終の大阪フェスではこれまで”In the Heat of the Moment”だったパートに、なんと”Whatever”が突然披露され、これには関西のファンから大きなどよめきが起き、この日一番の盛り上がりとなることに。
とにかくさらにエレガントに磨かれたその外見同様、完璧なまでに洗練された圧巻のパフォーマンスを3日連続で繰り広げた様子を完全再現した、来日限定メモリアル・アイテム。
