THE BEATLES / GET BACK : AS NATURE INTENDED (13CD BOX +BOOKLET)
名門エンプレス・バレイより、『ゲット・バック』のグリン・ジョンズによる2種類のミックス・トラックを、独自入手したオリジナル・マスターで収録した8CDと、アルバム5バージョンを収録した5CDをセットとし、さらにオリジナル・ブックレット付の究極のボックスが、完全限定ナンバリング入りの100セットのみリリース。
2021年10月には『レット・イット・ビー』のデラックス・エディション、そして11月には映画『ゲット・バック』の配信公開と、半世紀を過ぎて世界中から新たに注目される中、まずメインとなる2種類のマスターは、同レーベルから過去にリリースされ即入手困難となった「GET BACK 1st Mix (EVSD-1300)」と、「GET BACK Final Mix (EVSD-1301)」で、一番の特徴はテープヒス・ノイズの少なさとナチュラルな音質でドロップ・アウトする箇所もなく、数ある『ゲット・バック』関連アイテムでも最上級グレードと賞されるもの。
そして続くDISC ::3には「GET BACK ACETATE 1」、「ACETATE 1.5」、そして「ACETATE 2」を収録しており、因みにこのDISC 1、 2、 3を組み替えれば、現存する『ゲット・バック』のバージョン違いを全て造ることができるというコンセプトで、その他にもセッション、オルタネイト・ステレオ・ミックス、モノ・ミックスなどを収録。
さらに「GET BACK NAKED」と題された紙ジャケット3枚組は、近年アップデートを繰り返され、同レーベルからも初期アルバムから時系列にリリースされているたスペクトラル・ステレオ・デミックスを施した「ゲット・バック・セッション」を収録。これは現代の最新オーディオ技術を用いて、よりバランスの良いステレオ・サウンドに作り替えようというプロジェクト「spectral stereo demix」で制作されたもので、アルバム・レコーディングの過程をカンペキなステレオ・ミックスにて再現しており、もちろんAロール、Bロールを単純に左右に振り分けた稚拙なものでく、一聴するとリアル・ステレオ音源か聞き違うほどのクオリティーにて。
さらに同ボックス・セットにはにはアルバム『ゲット・バック』の5バージョンを5CDにて収録しており、バージョン1から4まで、そして「ビートルズ・サンデイ/オールディーズ」と呼ばれるバージョン1.5までもが最高クオリティーにてCD化。
しかもその全てにデザインの異なるジャケットが使用され、丸帯も付いたハードタイプ紙製クリア・コーティングの紙ジャケットでの豪華仕様。
